Anne graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Saint Olaf College (Northfield, Minnesota) and subsequently began a career as a high school English teacher. Later she attended William Mitchell College of Law where she worked as an editor of the William Mitchell Law Review and graduated Cum Laude (1995). After law school, Anne clerked for the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She has also been an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law (1999-2006), teaching persuasive writing to first-year students.
Her legal career has included both the private and public sectors, with several years as an Assistant Public Defender (Tenth Judicial District, Minnesota). Anne currently represents clients in a variety of legal matters including civil litigation, estate planning, juvenile defense, and appellate advocacy.
Anne was president of the Washington County Bar Association (2001-2002). She is a member of B.N.I. (St. Croix Valley Network Professionals), Treasurer of the Minnesota Feis, and an active member of her church. Anne, her husband, Greg, and their three children live in Stillwater, Minnesota.
