DAVID K. MEIER dkmeier@stlawfirm.com

After graduating from Bemidji State University in 1978, Dave received his Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 1981. He immediately set up a solo practice in Woodbury, Minnesota focusing on civil litigation and helping people injured in accidents.

Dave complimented his private practice in Woodbury by working as an adjunct professor at both his alma mater, William Mitchell College of Law and Inver Hills Community College. At Inver Hills, Dave used his communication skills to train legal assistant students in all disciplines of the law for 19 years.

In addition, Dave has acted as a Certified Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association for over 10 years. He routinely decides cases involving medical treatment and lost wages resulting from auto accidents.

Dave joined the firm January 1, 2003. He provides a second litigator and a wealth of experience in the courts of Washington, Ramsey, Dakota and Hennepin Counties. He has tried countless cases to a successful conclusion throughout the state.

Injuries from an accident or catastrophe require a thorough analysis of all facts and medical records. Dave has demonstrated his dedication to serving his client's interests for over 21 years. He has presented his client's cases for compensation with honesty and integrity.

When a marriage is unsuccessful, its dissolution can be heartbreaking for both parties. Dave provides a steady and compassionate helping hand. There is always a true attempt to resolve issues by negotiation and agreement. When that mature effort fails, Dave will litigate the matter fully and defend against all false and angry attacks which are usually designed to divert attention away from the law and facts.

Dave, his wife Jenny, and their 3 children have resided in Woodbury, Minnesota since 1987. In addition to being a husband and father, Dave is active in his church, Woodbury Youth's Sports Program, and he has an unhealthy affection for the game of golf. Dave and Jenny enjoy traveling.
